My phone rang a few minutes ago...at 10pm at night. Apparently there is a Winter Storm Warning in my area. I didn't realize such a warning was in effect as the most weather I could make note of on the drive back to my apartment moments earlier were the overcast skies. Anyway, the call was from a coworker stating that, due to the Winter Storm Warning, I could take up residence in a hotel room near my employer, the expenses of which would be paid by said employer.

I'm tempted to take it up, but it would delay my arrival into bed much more than this post. I think I'll just leave a little earlier tomorrow.

In case you're wondering, we're supposed to get two to four inches of snow tomorrow, none of which has actually started falling yet.

2 to 4 inches? Back in rochester, that is considered a dusting.

Yeah, I know that. You know that. Apparently the Chesapeake City Schools didn't know that because they canceled school already and the only thing to show for the storm so far this morning are cloudy skies.

2-4 inches...I laugh when we get that little snow here. Schools and businesses delay or close for the day.

We got your four inches today, Jon. Just enough to get my feet wet inside my flat shoes. I hate that.
